Overview

IT.Junior Application Support Analyst at The Citco Group Limited. The role sits within the Monitoring and Application Verification (MAV) team and focuses on day-to-day monitoring of supported applications and ensuring applications are ready for business after maintenance work such as patching or software releases.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor alerts and respond according to documented procedures across different channels.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate application issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely prioritization of concurrent tasks or issues based on urgency.
  • Assist with application readiness after maintenance activities (e.g., patching, releases).
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to maintain access to critical information assets and support service excellence.
Qualifications

About You:

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills with managers, peers, and business stakeholders.
  • Be an effective team contributor with a passion for growth, new technologies, and automation.
  • Commit to ongoing technical development and/or certification.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and working relationships with others.
  • Experience with System/Application Administration and Support including:
  • Unix/Windows Servers navigation and scripting
  • Windows Desktop/User session navigation
  • Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL DB familiarity and query building
  • AWS navigation and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity or experience with development such as Java or Python is a plus
