The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations with tasks related to inventory control, SAP transactions, and material receiving/issuance, while also assisting with various accounting functions. This role ensures the accurate tracking of materials and financial transactions within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse transactions for all materials, including receiving and issuance, ensuring accurate and on-time recording in both manual and SAP systems.
  • Conduct regular (monthly) and accurate inventory counts of materials stored in all KPMI warehouses.
  • Provide a monthly reconciliation report comparing actual inventory counts with SAP and manual records.
  • Prepare annual inventory compliance reports for BIR and FS-related transactions.
  • Update records accordingly to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • File and organize warehouse-related documents, ensuring easy access and compliance.
  • Witness scrap hauling activities, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Assist with assigned accounting tasks, including basic financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and procedural guidelines.
  • Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the superior.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
