We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Intermediate Accountant with 2‑3 years of experience to support our finance and accounting operations in an offshore setting. This position involves working closely with the onshore team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and day‑to‑day accounting functions. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting reconciliations. Prepare financial statements and tax returns, including BAS preparation. Assist in month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and accruals. Prepare year‑end reporting for payroll. Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations. Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting. Communicate and collaborate effectively with onshore finance team members. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. Prepare ad‑hoc reports and analysis as required by management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2‑3 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in a shared service or offshore setting). CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress) is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero & MYOB). Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas). Experience working with international clients or teams. Familiarity with time zone coordination and remote collaboration tools (Teams, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Schedule Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL) Work Arrangement Onsite during probationary period then WFH after probationary.
