Overview Senior Data Analyst (Anti-Fraud) role at Maya in Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines. The role involves data processing, preparation, analysis, visualization and data-driven proposals on fraud strategy for Anti-fraud team. Collaborate with Anti-fraud, Product, Tech, Compliance to adjust fraud controls while ensuring frictionless client experience and addressing fraud risks. Establish robust fraud data analytics with effective detection, monitoring and investigation processes. Generate periodic reports on fraud risk and trends. Responsibilities Conducts data processing including data preparation, data analysis, visualization and prepare data-driven proposals on fraud strategy for all products, processes and systems utilized by the Anti-fraud team. Collaborate with the Anti-fraud team, Product, Tech, Compliance, etc. to recommend, review, update and adjust fraud controls setup to achieve frictionless experience for clients while addressing potential fraud risks. Establish a robust fraud data analytics framework ensuring effective fraud detection, monitoring, and investigation processes. Generate periodic reports on fraud risk and trends. Fraud Review and Analytics: conduct overall fraud analytics related to all products within OneMaya and collaborate with the Anti-fraud team to address potential risks not covered. Ensure robust and continuous fraud monitoring with appropriate triggers. Generate daily management level reporting to report fraud risk across the portfolio; review standard fraud controls for all wallet and banking products and work with stakeholders to ensure compliance. Design and implement robust fraud prevention and detection measures using data analytics and advanced technologies to identify and mitigate risks proactively. Analyze data and generate insights on trends, fraud patterns, and operational performance; provide regular reports to senior management. Utilize performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes and decision-making to achieve operational excellence. Aid in automating manual tasks in Anti-fraud for faster investigation turnaround and establishing predictors for multiple use cases. Work with DS team for fraud model development, validation, review and fine-tuning. Identify fraud patterns, understand modus operandi, and conduct impact assessments. Develop a strategy and actionable items to reduce fraud numbers, including alerts/models, SOPs, and escalating findings to stakeholders. Provide data support for investigations to understand modus operandi and profile fraudulent actors; conduct deep-dive data investigations for major cases (impact analysis, root cause, post-mortem). Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in lending fraud assessment, identity fraud prevention & fraud data analytics. Experience in SQL coding and utilization of visualization tools. Digital Banking & Lending experience preferred.
