About the Role

This is a senior leadership position reporting to the Head of IT. You’ll take ownership of MediCard’s enterprise data platform, build and implement governance frameworks, and lead a cross-functional data team. The role covers data quality, reporting integrity, platform performance, and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage MediCard’s enterprise data platform, including performance, security, and compliance
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Lead a team of data professionals (analyst, architect, engineer, DBA)
  • Resolve data quality issues and escalations from business units
  • Drive alignment with AIA PH and Group on data strategy and reporting
  • Enable business units with data access, reporting, and analytics
  • Monitor KPIs: data quality, SLA adherence, data security, and project timelines
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 10+ years in IT/data analysis or management
  • 5+ years leading data or analytics teams
  • Strong experience in data governance, platform architecture, and reporting enablement
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional data teams
  • Track record of managing enterprise data programs
Good-to-Have
  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance domain
  • Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exposure to group-level data reporting structures
  • Vendor and stakeholder management experience
