Focus on backend data engineering—no dashboards or data visualization. Responsibilities Implement and support data pipelines Transform data and create transformations according to business rules and client requirements Support data enrichment workflows Automate recurring data loads and transformations across customers Schedule, orchestrate, and validate data refresh cycles Own client refresh lifecycle, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate data updates Continuously improve pipeline efficiency and reduce refresh times and resource usage Identify bottlenecks and refactor logic or infrastructure to scale with growing data volumes Validate data post‑ingestion and transformation to ensure schema alignment, completeness, and business logic integrity Collaborate with Data Quality and Delivery teams to resolve ingestion‑related data quality issues Build checks into the ETL workflows to proactively detect and flag anomalies Qualifications Technical quantitative BS degree, combined with modelling work experience or training, working knowledge of modelling (regression, machine learning, feature selection, validation), data ETL (extracting, preparing, munging, validating) and building analytics workflows. Essential Skills 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing automated data workflows in Alteryx or similar ETL tools (Talend, SSIS, Informatica) Strong SQL experience, especially writing complex joins, data transformations, and quality checks Understand data structures and logic but not expected to create visualizations or dashboards Programming languages: SQL; R and Python beneficial Develop custom workflows using Alteryx to access Snowflake database, create repeatable processes for other team members Logical approach to data collection and ensuring collection meets timeline Identify gaps or anomalies and seek clarification, surface concerns or issues immediately with recommendations About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
