Overview

Finance Associate Director: responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance operations for the Philippines entities, including financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Supports strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and ensures alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards. Leads a finance team based in the Philippines and collaborates closely with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports in line with IFRS/local GAAP, US GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements; lead tax compliance and treasury management for Philippine entities.
  • Audit & Risk Management: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to risk and compliance standards and achieving clean audit outcomes.
  • Controllership & Operational Oversight: Provide financial oversight across all service lines, conduct balance sheet reviews, manage cost allocations, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Strategic Planning & Business Partnering: Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), conduct performance reviews with leadership, monitor KPIs, support revenue recognition, and drive change initiatives.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About You
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification in the Philippines is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with exposure to shared services or multinational environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, treasury operations, and financial planning; experience with audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Systems & Tools Proficiency: Skilled in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and advanced Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proven leadership with integrity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
