Join to apply for the Financial Analyst role at S&P Global. Location: Hyderabad / Quezon City. Senior Financial Analyst - AR; The Team: Global AR & Credit team focused on managing revenue and cash collections metrics. The Role: Senior Financial Analyst - AR.

Responsibilities
  • Understand accounting and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Perform analyses and provide Senior Management with final monthly results for DSO, Delinquent AR, and Cash Collections.
  • Provide proficiency in Bad Debt accounting and related processes.
  • Analyze KPIs and provide monthly and ad-hoc drivers for KPI changes, comparing with historical periods.
  • Support Finance and Collection Team to consolidate, analyze, and report Revenue data.
  • Develop familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Blue Prism) to support day-to-day operational reports and reconciliations.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Analyze and resolve issues timely while ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Backfill and provide support to other accountants across departments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive results.
  • Work independently, be accountable for tasks, and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead projects and initiatives when required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially advanced Excel and Access skills.
Qualifications
  • Qualified CA (preferred) with 2-6 years of accounting or audit experience.
  • Experience with Oracle R12, PIMS, SAP, and Salesforce CPQ and Tasks product is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn new and legacy systems quickly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for global collaboration.
  • Capability to work with offshore partners and cross-functional teams; global perspective on end-to-end processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage heavy workload.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed; flexible to shifting schedules to match US hours and overtime as needed.
  • Working hours: 2PM–11PM IST / 4:30PM–1:30PM Manila.
  • Hybrid setup (2 days per week in the office).
