Overview
The HR Assistant supports the HR department in various administrative and operational functions. This includes assisting with recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. The HR Assistant helps maintain compliance with legal and company requirements while fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employee benefits administration.
