Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Philippines logistics of package imports, warehousing and distribution to customers while ensuring timely delivery of product and requested ETAs are met. This task includes the activities below:
  • Liaise with customers and transport company for pickup and deliveries to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor import shipments, coordinate with Customs Broker for cargo clearance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and third‑party service providers. Develop logistics partners while maintaining personal and corporate relationships that produce effective logistics services in the long term.
  • Ensure costs related to logistics are captured in SAP within the same month by raising PO.
  • Work with supplier networks to optimize warehouse costs, improve availability, lead times, delivery schedules and other factors.
  • Inbound Logistics: Monitor container status via carrier portals and ensure timely arrival of product and requested ETAs; download shipping documents from the BDP Portal and send them to the Broker and warehouses at least 14 days prior to the ETA; coordinate with the Customs Broker to ensure legislative requirements are met; apply for Import permits and ensure they are obtained promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Stock replenishment including placing STOs; work with Global Logistics and Asia logistics team to ensure correct shipping documents are received; investigate stock variances and raise claims against warehouses and freight forwarders when required; ensure appropriate stock availability and service levels to all customers; manage annual stocktake at PH Warehouse.
  • Address internal and external customer complaints promptly to ensure zero loss of business due to Novus or partners’ actions; address complaints regarding logistics issues within the Novus Issues Management Tool to view, track and improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), the Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related supply chain experience in logistics (multi-national experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of effective logistics solutions, order fulfillment processes, foreign trade and import/export regulations (Exposure to Bureau of Animal Industry processes preferable).
  • Proficient in SAP applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills working with logistics service contracts and operating agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interdepartmental and external coordination to support growth strategy.
  • Fluent in the local language and English.
