About the role: As a Fraud Operations Team Manager, you will lead a team of Fraud Specialists to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activities. You will provide strategic oversight, ensure 24/7 operational coverage, and communicate findings to senior leadership within BetMGM's Risk & Payments Department under Entain.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and coach Fraud Specialists to drive engagement, performance, and career growth.
  • Oversee service levels, staffing, scheduling, and quality scores to meet KPIs in fraud operations.
  • Lead analysis and resolution of fraud cases, escalations, and chargebacks; identify trends and mitigate risks.
  • Design and refine fraud detection processes, implement technologies, and address emerging threats and bonus abuse.
  • Maintain high QA scores; lead calibration and training initiatives to improve detection capabilities.
  • Collaborate with related teams; communicate fraud trends to senior leadership.
  • Ensure regulatory adherence and provide detailed fraud trend reports and operational performance updates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading loss prevention, fraud, regulatory compliance, or security in ecommerce/online gaming; minimum 3 years managing teams (at least 1 year in a leadership role).
  • Strong knowledge of loss and fraud detection/prevention principles and multiple fraud areas; familiarity with compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of fraud back-office systems; experience with tools such as Kibana, PXP Kalixa, GeoComply is a plus.

Desirable:

  • Experience in handling FX-like or payments-related risk, and reporting to leadership.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/CRM or other operations software; data analytics capability.
  • Experience with regulatory/compliance requirements and risk management is a plus.
