Job Description This is a remote position. AU RTO Student Engagement Officer (Remote) Background We’re partnering with one of our amazing clients in Australian vocational education to find a Student Engagement Officer who’s all about connection. You’ll be the friendly face (or voice) making sure students feel supported from the moment they start, and the steady hand guiding them through their learning journey. About the Role This isn’t just about admin (though you’ll need to be great at that too). It’s about building trust, encouraging engagement, and helping students stay on track with their studies. You’ll use systems like Cloud Assess, aXcelerate, and similar platforms to monitor progress — but it’s your people-first approach that will make the real difference. Your Key Responsibilities : Welcome and onboard students across diverse backgrounds. Guide students in navigating learning systems with ease. Spot students at risk and step in early with support. Monitor dashboards, overdue assessments, and engagement reports. Keep student records tidy and compliant. Escalate academic issues to the right coordinators when needed. Requirements About YOU A true people person with warmth, patience, and energy. Strong communicator who can connect with anyone. Detail-oriented but never loses sight of the big picture : student success. Proactive and organized — you don’t wait for problems to escalate. Comfortable working remotely while staying collaborative. About YOUR Work History Solid admin or customer service background. Alternatively, experience in student support (education sector preferred). Familiar with Cloud Assess, aXcelerate, or similar systems. Accuracy of data entry and reporting. Student retention and reduced disengagement. Positive feedback from students and managers. When & Where YOU Will Work Remote, Philippines-based.
