ECLARO Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Quality Assurance Automation Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our Agile team to help build out test automation from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and experience working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our insurance products. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure seamless execution. Collaborate with Manual QA, Developers, and Product Owners to understand the requirements and acceptance criteria for user stories. Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria. Identify and report defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process within the Agile framework. Work closely with the onshore team to align testing efforts and ensure that deliverables meet the quality standards. Document test scripts, test plans, and test results in a clear and concise manner. Provide regular updates on the status of testing activities and communicate any risks or issues that may impact the project timelines. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new automation tools and frameworks. Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably in an Agile environment. Experience working with offshore teams is a plus. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Knowledge of test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Adaptability to changing priorities and a commitment to continuous learning.
