Responsibilities A QE (Quality Engineering) Engineer focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software and digital products through testing, quality assurance methodologies, and automation. Develop and execute test strategies, identify and track defects, implement quality improvements, and collaborate with development teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Utilize automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Allure Report, Jira/XRay) to create automated test scripts for efficient testing processes. Integrate quality assurance principles into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and champion shift-left testing. Identify, document, and track software defects, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide quality insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to quality initiatives, follow quality and security standards, and ensure product reliability. Required Skills & Tools Experience: At least 5 years experience in Quality Test Automation QA Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA methodologies and strategy development Automation Expertise: Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks like Playwright, Allure Report, Appium, WebdriverIO, LambdaTest, K6 CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Programming Languages: Skill in TypeScript or JavaScript for test scripting and development Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, GCP Performance & Security Tools: Experience with Artillery, K6 for performance and security testing Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities Work arrangement: Hybrid setup (3x onsite / 2x offsite every week) Employment Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Telecommunications Equal Opportunity Globe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants.
