About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team at Hub's United Business Solutions Inc. In this full-time, office-based role in Pasig City, Metro Manila, you will play a key part in maintaining the financial health and reporting for our organization. What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards

  2. Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions

  3. Performing account reconciliations and variance analyses

  4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports

  5. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial information and advice

  6. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies

  7. Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the Finance team

What we're looking for

  1. 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a professional services or mid-sized business environment

  2. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

  3. Excellent knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Income Tax regulations

  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  5. Proficient in using accounting software (SAP) and MS Office applications

  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
