About The Role

As a Product Management Officer, your role is to coordinate with the bank’s business managers from different units within the Financial Markets Segment (FMS) to develop new and review/improve existing FMS products for the bank. The product range includes fixed income, FX, investment, derivative, and other financial instruments that serve clients' and the bank treasury's investment and trading needs.

It also involves working with internal functions of the bank such as IT, Change Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to aid in infrastructure development and enhancement (systems, platforms, and processes) for the business. The scope spans conceptualization, definition of customer value proposition, product creation, draft/approval of change and licensing requirements, documentation of manuals, policies, procedures, vendor selection, testing, training, implementation, and maintenance.

How You'll Contribute
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities including ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with FMS units and internal functions of the bank on product and infrastructure matters. Assist sales teams in responding to client queries if needed.
  • Articulate requirements and project needs related to product and infrastructure development.
  • Engage actively with the bank’s business managers to understand market trends and client preferences.
  • Assess products and services from a client perspective to identify appealing features and functionalities.
  • Manage conflicting preferences among various bank units to ensure balanced decision-making.
  • Develop processes, risks, and benefits related to changes in existing products.
  • Meet regularly with business managers to brainstorm and improve products/processes.
  • Prepare manuals and procedures for product changes, coordinate sign-offs, and oversee launch/implementation.
  • Define business requirements for new initiatives and participate in the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor performance, provide training, and support concerned units with system and product updates.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering.
  • Treasury Certification, SEC Certification preferred.
  • Understanding of the interdependence between FMS Product Development Team and other bank units.
  • Basic knowledge of fixed income, FX, trust, derivatives markets, and macroeconomics.
  • Awareness of internal & external rules, regulations, including BSP Circulars, SEC regulations, PDEX guidelines, market conventions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work across functions such as Risk Management, Finance, IT, Operations, Compliance.
