Join our team to experience our commitment to supporting People First. Role Summary : Responsible for recording, reporting and reconciliation of payroll transactions based on GAAP. Acts as a point of contact for audit requests and mitigates potential control failures by conducting root-cause analysis and identifying internal control issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities General Accounting and Analysis — Perform month-end closing activities including preparation of medium to high complexity journals and variance analysis according to the financial close calendar; ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data and appropriate supporting documentation. Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations for accounts of medium to high complexity and ensure all reconciling items are cleared timely with proper documentation. Coordinate with AP, Benefits, HRIS, FP&A and Budget teams and other departments to resolve reconciling items and gather required information for month-end close. Execute processes in compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP and local statutory requirements; perform accounting and other ad hoc tasks as needed. Finance Analysis & Reporting — Prepare ADP/Workday reports on wages, taxes and hours (accrual and paid), and other required reports for management and departments; perform financial analysis as required. Internal Control — Adhere to internal control policies and procedures; execute controls for accounts handled per company policies. Year End Audit — Prepare reports, reconciliations and schedules needed for audit; coordinate with teams, departments, vendors and leaders to gather information for audit. Process Improvements — Support finance-wide projects including process automation and system enhancements; conduct root cause analysis for errors and propose solutions; collaborate with finance teams to understand end-to-end processes for improvements. Controllership — Provide trend analysis, variance analysis and recommendations for cost optimization; collaborate with other departments and geographies to understand control and financial risks and opportunities; report risks and opportunities to management.
