Job Summary: The Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily transportation operations of the company. This role ensures that deliveries, logistics, and transport activities are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including pick-ups and deliveries. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely arrival. Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding schedules and requirements. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of transport activities, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance. Address and resolve transportation-related issues or delays. Assist in optimizing routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare reports on transportation performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or coordination roles. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in transport operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
