The Impact

The Application Associate will support Research and Client Operations—covering Client Support, Content Research, Operations & Testing within a specified industry sector or cross-industry group—to improve data quality, support standards, and delivery efficiency, with the aim of maintaining retention and driving revenue.

What’s in it for you?

As an Application Associate in Client Operations, you will learn, explore, educate and support financial information for customers in the financial markets. You will engage with clients to drive product usage and revenue, leveraging financial market knowledge, customer service skills and troubleshooting abilities. You will collaborate with various teams (Sales, Technology, Content, Industry Research, etc.) to meet client needs. You will contribute to proactive BAU processes, suggest product improvements, and participate in Agile-based User Acceptance Testing.

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop financial models in MS Excel (using internal tools) for internal/external clients to support their analysis.
• Proactively suggest improvements related to product usability, presentation, and data quality.
• Serve as the primary contact for delivering research and value-added knowledge to clients at financial institutions, government organizations and universities.
• Support clients through calls, emails and other communications; engage with clients via phone, email and video conferences on industry, platform and data questions.

What are we looking for? Basic Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of MS Office and databases is a plus.
• Interest in finance and willingness to learn; knowledge of Finance/Accounting is helpful.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work on Morning / APAC shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or CFA candidacy is a plus.
• VBA knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM applications is a plus.
