Senior Accountant (Australian Tax Experience)

Location: Philippines - In-Office, Hybrid, or Remote

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex financial statements in line with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Lead preparation and review of tax returns across individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Handle BAS, FBT, GST compliance with precision and timeliness.
  • Mentor and review the work of intermediate and junior accountants.
  • Provide insights into tax planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure workpapers and reconciliations are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
  • Research and apply ATO rulings and legislation to resolve tax issues.
Who You Are
  • Experienced in Australian accounting and tax compliance at a Senior Accountant level.
  • Knowledgeable in Australian Accounting Standards, with proven tax expertise.
  • Proficient with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiTax or similar.
  • Detail-driven professional with leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Confident communicator with global client experience.
