Overview The Credit Policy Officer shall be responsible for the regular review and update of the Credit Policies Manual, ensuring that it is an effective tool in strengthening the Bank’s credit processes. He/she shall conduct the review of product and operating manuals upon request of the various units of the Bank. He/she shall also assist in the performance of the functions of the Sub-Credit Committee Secretariat. Responsibilities Regularly review and update the Credit Policies Manual to strengthen the bank’s credit processes. Review product and operating manuals upon request from various units of the Bank. Assist in performing the functions of the Sub-Credit Committee Secretariat. Qualifications Educational Background: With bachelor’s degree preferably in banking and finance, accounting or any business course, and also in science or mathematics course. Professional Experience: At least five (5) years in credit risk management (e.g., account management, credit evaluation/analysis/review, credit policy development, documentation review, lending operations) or in financial/operations audit of a financial institution. Knowledge and Skills Required: With in-depth knowledge of credit risk management processes With basic knowledge and understanding of BSP’s Manual of Regulations for Banks, particularly the regulations relating to Credit/Lending Has above-average analytical skills Possesses good oral and written communication skills With good leadership potential Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Position Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Finance Industries: Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
