Roles and Responsibilities Manage supply chain operations from procurement to distribution. Optimize inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment. Oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities. Monitor and improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards. Competencies Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices. Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Leadership abilities to manage a diverse team. Problem-solving skills for operational challenges. Understanding of distribution industry regulations and trends. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Inventory management and control for cost savings. On-time delivery performance and logistics optimization. Supplier relationship management and quality assurance. Operational efficiency improvements and process enhancements. Compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-Day Tasks Monitor inventory levels and place orders with suppliers. Coordinate transportation and logistics for efficient distribution. Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement. Lead and motivate the operations team to meet goals. Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in supply chain, logistics, or operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role within a distribution or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques. Strong leadership and people management skills.
