We’re seeking an experienced Senior Loan Processor / Underwriter who understands the unique world of private and hard money lending and can move files from application to closing with speed, precision, and exceptional communication. Responsibilities Process and underwrite loan files for Fix & Flip, DSCR, Ground-Up Construction, and Gap Funding loans. Coordinate with capital providers , title companies, insurance agents, and borrowers to ensure smooth closings. Review borrower documentation: income verification, credit reports, appraisals, rehab budgets, and entity documents. Prepare term sheets , collect conditions, and submit loan packages to lenders for approval. Perform data entry, maintain loan files, and track pipeline progress in HubSpot or similar CRM systems . Communicate clearly and professionally with investors, borrowers, and partners throughout the process. Ensure compliance with private lending and business-purpose loan guidelines. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Loan Processor, Underwriter, or Loan Officer Assistant in Private or Hard Money Lending . In-depth understanding of DSCR and Fix & Flip loan structures . Must have U.S. mortgage experience (private lending or correspondent lending preferred). Strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and CRMs (HubSpot preferred). Excellent communication and organization skills — able to manage multiple files simultaneously. High attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
