The role We’re looking for a senior, technically literate Technical Delivery Manager to own execution and delivery discipline across our engineering initiatives. This role exists to ensure work moves from idea to shipped reality — without stalling, drifting, or relying on senior leaders to push it over the line. You will own end-to-end delivery execution across the full lifecycle of projects: engaging early at kick-off, maintaining context throughout development, coordinating QA and release readiness, and ensuring outcomes are delivered cleanly and predictably. This role is communication-critical. You will represent engineering delivery to senior stakeholders daily, in writing and in conversation. Clear, structured, confident English communication is non-negotiable. If your written updates need editing for clarity, tone, or structure, this role will not be a fit. This is not a people-management role and not a product role. It is a hands-on delivery ownership role for someone who understands engineering, communicates exceptionally well, and is comfortable making pragmatic delivery decisions without constant escalation. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing, acting as the delivery spine across a distributed, offshore-heavy team. What you\'ll do Own end-to-end technical delivery execution across engineering initiatives, from project kick-off through development, QA, release, and completion. Engage early in projects to build and maintain full context around scope, intent, dependencies, risks, and delivery constraints. Manage day-to-day delivery operations: boards, backlog health, ticket flow, prioritisation, sequencing, and readiness. Coordinate QA cycles, testing readiness, defect resolution, and release preparation. Actively drive releases to completion, ensuring work does not stall at the finish line. Make pragmatic scope, sequencing, and delivery trade-off decisions to maintain momentum, escalating only when necessary. Surface delivery risks, dependencies, and execution gaps early, resolving or escalating before they impact outcomes. Own delivery reporting, providing clear, concise visibility on progress, risks, blockers, and delivery confidence. Produce high-quality written delivery artefacts (daily updates, weekly summaries, release notes, risk call-outs) that are accurate, concise, and immediately actionable. Coordinate and triage support issues and delivery exceptions, ensuring timely allocation and follow-through. Act as the primary operational interface between Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing. Provide operational leadership for offshore engineers, ensuring clarity of priorities, accountability, and delivery follow-through. Support delivery-adjacent technical work including ISO evidence coordination, RFP inputs, and operational documentation as required. What you bring Strong experience in technical delivery, delivery management, or senior engineering operations within a SaaS environment. Sufficient technical background to confidently work with engineers, understand trade-offs, and assess delivery risk. Proven ability to drive work to completion, including QA coordination and release execution. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills. You can summarise complex delivery states clearly, make confident written recommendations, and communicate with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders without translation or interpretation. Comfort making independent delivery decisions without over-escalating. Experience working with distributed and offshore teams, including managing execution across time zones. High ownership mentality: organised, reliable, pragmatic, and outcome-focused. Calm under pressure, with the ability to cut through ambiguity and keep momentum. Respectful, direct, and collaborative working style. Demonstrated ability to run delivery largely asynchronously, using written communication as the primary tool. We place a high bar on communication and execution quality for this role. The interview process will include written delivery exercises to assess clarity of thought, organisation, and judgment in real-world delivery scenarios. This role is best suited to senior delivery operators who have already run complex delivery in distributed teams and are comfortable being fully accountable for outcomes.
