Job Title: Senior SEO Specialist (Contract, Work from Home – Cebu-based | Opportunity to Transition to Part-Time or Full-Time Based on Performance) Company Overview We are a digital marketing agency since 2007, based in Cebu, helping brands grow through organic search visibility and data-driven SEO. Our team works with clients across Australia, US and Singapore in various industries — from healthcare to e-commerce and technology. We’re looking for a results-driven Senior SEO Specialist who can plan, execute, and measure SEO strategies that deliver ranking growth and traffic improvement. This is a contract-based, work-from-home role , ideal for experienced SEO professionals. About the Role We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to help improve our online visibility and organic growth through data-driven SEO strategies. This is a 1-month paid contract role with the potential for extension to part-time or full-time, depending on performance, output quality, and communication. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO) to improve keyword rankings and organic traffic. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis using tools such as SEMrush , Ahrefs , or Google Search Console . Perform site audits and recommend improvements to enhance website structure, speed, and crawlability. Optimize website content for target keywords (titles, meta tags, schema, internal linking, etc.). Create and implement content strategy aligned with SEO objectives, ensuring content meets both user intent and search engine best practices. Track and report keyword rankings, clicks, impressions, and conversions through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and GSC . Identify link-building opportunities and support digital PR initiatives. Identify and disavow toxic or harmful backlinks as part of ongoing link quality management and off-page SEO strategy. Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices. Align SEO efforts with broader marketing and business goals Execute and optimize strategies for Local SEO, including Google Business Profile and local citation management Implement best practices and strategies for e-commerce SEO, particularly for platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations. Provide SEO guidance during site migrations, redesigns, and new feature launches Requirements At least 3–5 years of solid SEO experience , ideally in an agency or multi-client setting. Strong understanding of Google Search Console , GA4 , SEMrush , Ahrefs , and PageSpeed Insights . Experience in technical SEO audits , content optimization , and local SEO . Proven track record of improving keyword rankings and organic visibility. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently. Based in Cebu or nearby areas, and available for remote / work-from-home setup . Good SEO writing skills are an advantage , particularly in optimizing content for both users and search engines. Web development and web design skills are a plus , especially in WordPress or Shopify environments. Google Ads experience and expertise is a plus, especially in managing campaigns that complement organic strategies. Work Arrangement This is a 1-month paid contract role designed to assess performance, communication, and overall SEO execution. Outstanding candidates may be offered an extension to a part-time or full-time position , depending on results and fit with the team.
