Overview Strategic Amazon Advertising (PPC) Manager at Adverio is responsible for directing the tactical day-to-day management of paid campaigns across Amazon PPC, Walmart, and Target to drive account growth and profitability. This role reports to the Strategic Brand Strategist and ensures seamless deployment of optimizations, proactive performance monitoring, and risk management during regular U.S. business hours. It is an internal and weekly/bi-weekly client-facing position requiring strong operational focus and clear communication. Key Responsibilities Campaign Execution & Optimization Launch, manage, and optimize Sponsored Products (SP), Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Display (SD), and DSP campaigns. Optimize bids, budgets, placement modifiers, bidding settings, and campaign objectives to meet brand growth and profitability targets and achieve profitable scale. Implement predefined Campaign Launches with established infrastructure, including naming conventions, bidding types, and placement settings. Execute strategic negation and harvesting per SOPs and any Brand Strategist–specific parameters. Perform keyword research, market share analysis, and harvesting feedback loops with the Brand Strategist. Set up and manage A/B tests and trend analyses with proper monitoring and reporting of results. Troubleshoot performance issues in real-time and escalate significant concerns to the Brand Strategist; escalate to Quality Control if performance does not improve. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Maintain accurate KPI tracking across all assigned accounts to prevent overspending or underperformance. Provide timely performance summaries to the Brand Strategist and flag anomalies or risks in real time. Contribute to Mid-Month and End-of-Month reporting with data pulls and initial insights; assist with ad-hoc reports and recommend automation when appropriate. Collaborate with the Strategic Brand Manager and PPC Specialists to align on account goals and priority actions, especially when teammates are out of the office. Participate in weekly external and internal syncs and maintain clear, timely communication around urgent updates or risks. SOP Adherence & Process Improvement Follow internal SOPs and surface gaps to Quality Control; provide feedback on process improvements and efficiency. Stay updated with Amazon Ads algorithm changes, new features, and beta opportunities; proactively suggest campaign improvements and share learnings with the team. Prepare for growth into advanced responsibilities, including account strategy contributions and leadership in specialized areas (e.g., DSP expansion). Manage PPC specialists assigned to you for ad hoc tasks. Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on Amazon PPC campaign management. Experience with Amazon Ads platform tools, bid strategies, and campaign structuring. Minimum 1 year of experience using Ads Labs for optimization and management is a must. Experience in other marketplaces like Walmart and Target is a plus. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data monitoring and reporting. Experience working with SOPs and following structured processes. Proactive and responsive communication skills, with the ability to flag risks and opportunities.
