Our Wealth Management team is seeking experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig as Operational Risk Officers .

As an Operational Risk Officer , you will act as the first line of defense for the Wealth Management business, working closely with Operational Risk Control Owners to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks. You will ensure the effective implementation of risk controls aligned with the bank's policies and promote a strong risk-aware culture.

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, implement, and execute Control Testing (CT) processes within the business unit.
  • Conduct spot checks at Wealth Centers and operational hubs to ensure compliance and control effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues through collaboration with key stakeholders and the implementation of effective controls.
  • Lead communication and training initiatives to increase risk awareness and foster a compliance culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, Business Operations, or Analysis
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management, preferably in banking or a similar financial environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and influence stakeholders at all levels
