Application Developer

About the Role In addition to systems development and maintenance of on-prem and cloud applications, the Senior Developer’s role includes mentoring and coaching of other developers, design and analysis of system enhancements, coordination with business users as needed, user training support, and creation of functional and technical documents. Location: Manila, Philippines Scope of Work / Responsibilities Mentor team members and share knowledge related to providing technical support for ERP applications, primarily for Human Capital Management, across various platforms. Work closely with project team members, business analysts, QA, and end users to ensure adherence to functional and technical requirements. Adapt emerging technologies and techniques to implement new systems/solutions. Implement ways to reuse solutions across projects. Perform design and development of applications according to requirements. Design, code, and maintain systems based on established standards. Understand requirements and develop design specifications. Perform design reviews and recommend improvements. Write clear code and prepare coding documentation. Provide technical assistance to other developers as needed. Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner. Develop forms, reports, database procedures, UNIX shell scripts, workflows, alerts, and integration scripts. Modify/Enhance existing code for new functionalities and optimization. Assist in system integration and user acceptance testing and perform bug fixes. Requirements & Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. At least 8 years of experience in the implementation and support of Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly in HRMS (HR, Payroll and Benefits modules) and Financials (GL, AP, CM, TR, AR modules). Familiarity with Oracle relational databases and multi-tiered application concepts. Experience in the custom application design and development and its integration into the main Oracle E-Business Suite. Technical Knowledge At least 6 years of experience and advanced knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL; can create complex SQL scripts. Solid years of experience in Oracle Workflow. Solid years of experience in Oracle Reporting Tools (XML Publisher, Oracle Reports Builder, HTML Reporting). Solid years of experience in data analysis, data integration, and data conversion/migration. Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and its application in projects. Familiar with Agile Methodology, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and GIT. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reporting and Coordination For the provision of staff augmentation services, the Agency Personnel will take instructions from the Manager at the Information Technology Department at AD1 and work closely with the project team, internal and external stakeholders. The Agency Personnel will provide any other services as required by the team and AD1 ITD supervisor or user unit. Work Arrangement Hybrid: contractors must report onsite three times a week. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ for more than 3 days, compliance is mandatory. Work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Manila Time.
