Software Test Engineer (AU eCommerce, WFH) Working Setup: Home based / Remote Working Schedule: 6 AM to 3 PM PHT About the Role & Team You’ll be joining a collaborative engineering team that includes developers, product managers, and integration experts focused on enhancing our eCommerce supply chain and operations systems. Your Squad Includes: Engineers building scalable, testable services Integration and platform leads managing cross-system architecture Stakeholders from operations and product teams Senior QA and Test Engineer Responsibilities Reviewing technical specifications and defining test strategies Leading end-to-end testing efforts across integrated systems Creating and executing automated functional and performance tests Performing manual and exploratory testing Identifying and root‑causing system issues Proposing and implementing improvements in test processes and tools Ensuring test coverage across unit, integration, and contract testing Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to triage issues Preparing and maintaining documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Metrics, etc.) Supporting CI/CD pipeline test integration and execution Recommending improvements based on user scenarios and pain points Promoting testing standards and driving continuous quality improvement Must‑Have Skills / Qualifications 3‑5+ years’ experience in a senior software QA/testing role, with strong experience in automation and manual testing Strong proficiency in TypeScript Experience working with integration platforms (middleware/iPaaS) and third‑party systems Expertise in RESTful API testing frameworks and tools Strong understanding of distributed systems (e.g., microservices, event‑driven architectures) Demonstrated ability to lead and execute test strategies, test plans, and test case development Skilled in CI/CD testing pipelines, preferably YAML‑based Experience with manual and automated functional, regression, performance, ETL, and end‑to‑end testing Familiarity with data reconciliation and quality assurance between systems Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Highly Valued Experience guiding engineering teams on testing best practices Ability to propose design changes to improve testability Familiarity with performance/load/stress testing tools Background in mentoring, coaching, and QA process improvement Previous exposure to iPaaS/Middleware platforms Benefits Permanent remote setup Be part of a certified Great Place to Work company Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
