Overview

Microsoft Azure Data Engineer role at AS White Global . As they accelerate their digital transformation journey, they are seeking a Microsoft Azure Data Engineer to drive the design and implementation of scalable data solutions and support key business initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
  • Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and structured data models within the Azure environment.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Monitor and optimise data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
  • Integrate Gen-AI solutions (e.g., Co-Pilot Studio or similar AI-powered tools) into data engineering workflows to enhance productivity, automation, and business outcomes.
Skills, Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Azure data services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and utilising Gen-AI technologies (such as Co-Pilot Studio or similar tools).
  • Ability to integrate generative AI solutions into enterprise data engineering workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
