Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to support our procurement team. This role involves sourcing suppliers , managing purchase orders , tracking deliveries , and maintaining accurate records . The ideal candidate is organized , proactive , and capable of handling supplier issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers in line with company requirements to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

  • Create and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure the timely procurement of goods and services.

  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.

  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis; maintain accurate procurement records.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to support inventory management and meet operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative support role (preferred).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

  • Experience in handling Point of Sale Materials (POSM) —marketing materials or promotional tools used at the point of purchase—is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze supplier data and resolve procurement issues efficiently.

  • Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory control.
