HR Officer w/ paralegal experience

Key Responsibilities:
A. Manage the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making job offers.
B. Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
C. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
D. Assist with employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution.
E. Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees.
F. Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Paralegal Duties:
A. Assist in drafting and reviewing employment-related contracts, agreements, and policies.
B. Conduct legal research and provide summaries of findings to support HR decisions.
C. Assist with litigation preparation and discovery processes as needed.
D. Monitor changes to employment laws and regulations and update HR policies accordingly.
E. Liaise with external legal counsel on employment-related matters.
Requirements:
A. Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role, with knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
B. Paralegal certification or relevant experience in legal research, drafting, and contract management.
C. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
D. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
E. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
F. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
