The Operations Process Expert is responsible for supporting processes on operations functions within Security and Clearing business. The Operations Process Expert can handle more complex items and duties. Responsible for coordinating directly with onshore partners to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met. Other responsibilities may arise as part of our ever-evolving work environment. Responsibilities Responsible for day-to-day processing of operations (which may include, but not limited to Corporate Actions, Reconciliation, Security data processing), assessing criticality and client impact. Subject matter expert in the respective team’s discipline Interface with a variety of systems and departments to resolve tasks Develop and implement standardized procedures and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk and exposure. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, assisting in their professional development and ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Take initiative to participate in, and manage special projects and assignments that align to departmental and firm goals Provide training to new and existing staff, including departmental overviews for other teams Follow up on outstanding items and participates in the quality control process Analyze information to ensure high level of quality Take initiative to identify, lead and implement opportunities for process improvement Maintain a high degree of regulatory compliance and elevate any potential risk Employ good business judgement and apply legal and compliance considerations in mitigating risk to the firm Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes, technology platforms, and risk management frameworks Mandatory for Role Superior verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate exemplary performance in achieving targets Involvement in project implementation and change initiatives Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple deadlines and processes Strong analytical and decision‑making skills Detail oriented with exceptional quality and productivity Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask Team player with ability to maintain a positive work environment Mentality of engagement with "growth and evolution" mindset Desired Career Experience 4+ years of Securities, Markets, Asset Servicing experience or related industry Preferably with strong experience within trade lifecycle processing, corporate actions, reconciliations, and other relevant functions Knowledge of Securities Industry Rules and Regulations, experience with US Securities market is a plus. Risk management and decision-making capability.
