We are seeking a detail-oriented Offshore Tax Associate to support our client which is a U.S.-based tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of U.S. individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, and contributing to various tax-related engagements in coordination with onshore staff.

• 3+ years of experience with U.S. tax preparation
• 2+ years of experience supporting a U.S. based CPA firm
• Must have a strong experience preparing U.S. federal and state individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns.
• Must have experience with multi-state filings or estate & trust tax matters
• Familiarity with multiple U.S. tax software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of tax preparation experience is ideal, but 1-2 years at a minimum preferably supporting a U.S.-based CPA firm
• Familiarity with U.S. tax software
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• CPA or EA certification (or plans to obtain) is a plus but not required
