The Opportunity As an AVP Sales at Adobe, a front-line leadership role, you will focus on Adobe’s Mid Market / Scale solutions by building and managing a team of Account Executives. You will work closely with solution account managers to build awareness and develop new business opportunities. The team is fueled with a real passion for innovation, growth, and a relentless dedication to making the Marketer successful. What you’ll do Cultivate new lines of business within existing customer base in the Mid Market / Scale space. Support and grow existing customer base in partnership with Solution Account Managers; recruit, coach, mentor, and lead a diverse team of sales professionals to achieve quarterly sales targets. This includes closing new business and expanding upon existing clientele. Sell into multiple levels of an organization, open doors and empower the field team. Ensure that Sales department operations function smoothly, with the goal of facilitating executed sales and/or closings; operational responsibilities include accurate pipeline reporting and quarterly sales targets. 5-10 years of successful software sales leadership experience within the enterprise space. 10+ years overall experience in software selling required. Martech product experience is a plus. Experience selling to the CIO, CDO, CMO highly valued. Strong presentation skills, executive presence, and influencing skills critical. Highly motivated, as well as able to create and develop a highly-motivated, success oriented sales team. Qualifications 5-10 years of successful software sales leadership experience within the enterprise space. 10+ years overall experience in software selling required. Martech product experience is a plus. Experience selling to the CIO, CDO, CMO highly valued. Strong presentation skills, executive presence, and influencing skills critical. Compensation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $211,800 – $361,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
