As a Data Specialist - Consumer Insights, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced and insight-driven market research and analytics methods that ultimately provide actionable shopper insights , business solutions , thought leadership , and reporting that delivers our customers a clear return on investment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the consumer insights survey research process, collaborating with cross functional teams to define, plan, execute, analyze, and deliver consumer research results, insights, and solutions.
  • Turn data into insights by building compelling insights reports and presentations that integrate consumer research data, syndicated sales and shopper data, and other secondary trend data that provide in-depth analyses and solutions to address current business issues.
  • Work closely with clients and PUSH stakeholders by setting up regular meetings to collaborate and develop effective working relationships with team members and become a trusted advisor.
  • Support PUSH with client development, and serve the sales team as a subject matter expert for consumer insights and survey research.
  • Training and development as needed, to learn new tools, systems, and processes in support of job duties and all PUSH tech development activities.
Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.).
  • Proficient in industry tools utilized in the completion of the work assigned.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and advanced macros.
  • Advanced skill in plan preparation, and delivering effective solutions.
  • Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, while understanding and adapting to the audience.
  • Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect, leading to optimal execution of results.
  • Experience in and a solid understanding of primary market research and an ability to incorporate insights into analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical techniques and models commonly used in survey research.
  • Understanding of market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), survey design, data analysis, and the ability to turn data into insights via report writing and visualization (with a story).
