Zenon are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a very well‑established VVIP Operator based in the Far East for a Head of Airworthiness on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Establish and develop continuing airworthiness policy and procedures as required by the local authorities and other applicable National Aviation Authorities Ensure the development and revision of Maintenance Programs and Minimum Equipment Lists Oversee short term and long‑term maintenance planning Oversee the coordination and monitoring of maintenance activities undertaken by approved 3rd Party Maintenance Repair Organization Assess applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Supplemental Type Certificate modifications Ensure all aircraft permanent maintenance records and task tracking databases are accurately maintained Establish and develop policy and procedure for Maintenance Control Coordination / AOG support Liaise with OEM’s to ensure effective technical support is received, administer warranty / support programs and to stay abreast of current reliability and/or safety related issues Develop and implement initial and continuation / recurrent training programs for departmental staff Develop and deliver department specific training for all company staff Ensure Occurrence and Hazard reporting is in accordance with applicable regulations and company policy Develop commercial terms / conditions, marketing strategy and liaise with both existing and potential airworthiness clients Develop annual department budget and routinely monitor performance against identified goals Ensure valid subscriptions to approved data is in place for all managed aircraft Ensure continued validity of company approvals by cooperating with company quality & safety department and ensuring any identified non‑conformances are rectified Maintain a working knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and industry standards Qualifications Minimum Five (5) years relevant experience, within Continued Airworthiness. Previous experience of working within a VIP/Executive Jet Environment Management within an ICAO/EASA/FAA/UKCAA regulatory environment is essential Why Choose Zenon Aviation?
