The Senior Accountant is responsible in managing daily accounting operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, billing, and journal entries. The role provides leadership and guidance to the Connext accounting team while ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance. It operates with minimal supervision and supports ERP integration and process improvements. Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and ensure proper revenue and expense recognition in compliance with GAAP. Perform daily bank feed reviews, credit card transaction monitoring, and month-end reconciliations for multiple accounts. Manage job costing, inventory roll-forwards, and accurate expense coding to the correct general ledger accounts. Utilize QBO, Bill.com, and integrated ERP systems (e.g., IntegraRental, DASH, Ramp) for accounting operations. Prepare month-end financial analytics, variance reports, and assist in process improvements and special projects. Supervise accounting staff, manage A/P and A/R communications, and maintain accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least four years of experience in public or general accounting. Minimum of two years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data filtering, and manipulation. Strong knowledge of GAAP, journal entries, accruals, and the relationship between transactions and financial statements. Maintains high accuracy and attention to detail while supporting team collaboration and meeting deadlines. Adaptable, proactive learner with clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
