The opportunity
As a Production Supervisor at Metro Container Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic organisation.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products
Supervise and direct a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to address and resolve operational challenges
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Analyse production data and provide reporting to management on key performance metrics
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages team engagement and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Proficient in reading and interpreting production schedules, work orders, and technical specifications
Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Adaptable to changes in production requirements and able to prioritise tasks effectively
