The opportunity
As a Production Supervisor at Metro Container Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. Key responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products

  • Supervise and direct a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to address and resolve operational challenges

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

  • Analyse production data and provide reporting to management on key performance metrics

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages team engagement and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting production schedules, work orders, and technical specifications

  • Familiar with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Adaptable to changes in production requirements and able to prioritise tasks effectively
