Taguig, Philippines PH Global Jet Express Inc. (J&T Express) Full time

Procurement Associate is responsible for negotiations with suppliers, he/she is expected to have an extensive network of suppliers and Procurement professionals to partner with Procurement Department of J&T Express. As a Procurement Officer, his/her job duties include canvassing, processing purchase requests, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that J&T Express has sufficient amount of necessary materials or equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export Operations, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Procurement or a similar field is preferred but Fresh Graduates are also welcome to apply.
Preferably with experience in Construction/Renovation procurement.
Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review purchase requests based on current inventory and allocation of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Review purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
Negotiate with suppliers and settles on the best possible deal for the company.
Must always be updated on current market prices and look for other suppliers with better deals.
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
Perform buying duties when necessary.
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.
