Job Description

A Store Pharmacist is responsible for managing the pharmacy operations within a retail or drugstore setting. Their main duties include dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical advice, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Dispensing Medications: Accurately fill prescriptions based on doctors' orders. Ensure proper dosage, drug interactions, and possible side effects.
  • Customer Service & Counseling: Provide guidance on prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Educate customers on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels of medicines and medical supplies. Monitor expiry dates and remove outdated products. Coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, sales, and controlled substances.
  • Health & Wellness Promotion: Recommend health and wellness products to customers. Conduct blood pressure, sugar level, and other basic health screenings if applicable.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Communicate with doctors regarding prescription clarifications. Advise healthcare providers on drug availability and alternative medications.
  • Licensed Pharmacist: Must hold a valid pharmacy license. We welcome fresh graduates.
  • Commitment to Health: Must be a non-smoker, passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work in an onsite retail setting, with a focus on natural health products.
