Role Purpose

Our Store Pharmacist is responsible for supervising pharmacy operations, including profitability, professional services, ROS, and regulatory compliance. They uphold high standards of O+O Customer Service and Good Pharmacy Practice. Acting as Pharmacist-In-Charge, they serve as the point of contact for regulatory matters and are responsible for training and developing Pharmacy Assistants/Associates to ensure consistent and compliant pharmacy operations across store formats.

This role focuses on
  • Monitoring and reviewing sales performance in health categories and recommending action plans to meet sales targets and improve pharmacy profitability.
  • Ensuring consistent execution of Brand of Service Standards when interacting with customers and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Serving as the pharmacist-in-charge and regulatory contact.
  • Performing functions for all digitally enabled services.
  • Supporting the immediate head in managing ROS compliance, including inventory and till management, to minimize shrinkage.
  • Supporting the immediate head in monitoring and controlling store expenses, recommending measures to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Adhering to health protocols and implementing crisis management plans to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and customers.
  • Building relationships with lessors for better communication and coordination to support business needs.
  • Sustaining team engagement and performance through coaching, counseling, motivating, and disciplining employees.
Success will depend on
  • Demonstrating analytical skills to monitor and evaluate online and offline initiatives, propose solutions, and track progress to improve sales and profitability.
  • Managing and monitoring brand of service, handling and resolving customer feedback promptly, and escalating complex complaints appropriately.
  • Practicing ethical and legal standards of the profession.
  • Analyzing store profitability and implementing cost optimization measures to maximize productivity.
  • Identifying gaps, monitoring compliance, and coaching on retail standards to improve efficiency.
  • Benchmarking retail practices and building relationships with mall partners, affiliates, and professional organizations or partner schools.
  • Delegating tasks effectively, training and coaching staff on selling techniques and operational skills, and maintaining team motivation.
