About the Role We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Ecommerce Reporting and Analytics Lead to design and manage robust data reporting systems across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart platforms. This role involves building scalable dashboards, automating data flows, and translating business needs into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is both technical and business-minded, comfortable working cross-functionally, and eager to grow into a leadership role within six months with mentorship from the current Head of Analytics. Responsibilities Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly ecommerce performance reports using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and similar tools. Create user-friendly dashboards in tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI to visualize key performance metrics. Integrate and analyze data from platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Meta Ads, and Google Ads. Develop and manage systems for data storage and organization using tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS. Automate reporting processes using scripts and APIs to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive teams to deliver insights and answer key business questions. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all reports, systems, and dashboards. Lay the groundwork for a high-performing analytics function, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role. Competencies and Qualifications Must-Have 4-5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles. Direct experience with ecommerce analytics from platforms like Amazon Seller Central and Shopify. Proficient in building automated reports and dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, SQL, and Google Sheets. Strong experience with data storage and pipeline tools (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS). Excellent communication skills, able to explain data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting. Experience working with US or UK-based ecommerce or DTC companies. Experience with API integration and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Apps Script). Effective communicator who can translate data into meaningful narratives and influence decision-making at all levels. Nice-to-Have Prior experience in a fast-growing startup or analytics leadership role. Background in consumer product goods (CPG) or digital marketing analytics. Familiarity with tools like Segment, GA4, or Supermetrics. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, CS, Business Analytics). Demonstrated stability in career progression—ideally someone who has grown within organizations and been promoted through performance. Key Qualities Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Goal-oriented with a strong focus on driving measurable results aligned with business objectives.
