Position: Logistics & Purchasing Assistant (With Transportation Allowance) Company Industry: Manufacturing Company Work Location: Calamba, Laguna Postal Code: 4027 Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 am – 5:00pm) Salary: Php15,000 Work Set Up: Onsite BENEFITS: ✨Meal Allowance ✨Transportation Allowance ✨Government Mandated Benefits ✨HMO ✨Vacation Leave ✨Sick Leave ✨13th Month Pay JOB REQUIREMENTS: ✨ Bachelor’s degree holder ✨ With at least 6 months to 1 year experience in Purchasing ✨ With experience working in Manufacturing company is an advantage ✨ Amenable to attend face to face interview ✨ Can start as soon as possible JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ✨ Assist in planning and managing the organization’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. ✨ Supervise and guide junior clerks and purchasing staff to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. ✨ Review and process purchase orders and requisitions accurately and efficiently. ✨ Evaluate supplier performance and support the maintenance of strong vendor relationships. ✨ Assist in cost-reduction initiatives, including negotiating terms and pricing with vendors. ✨ Conduct monthly inventory checks and ensure accurate stock reporting. ✨ Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse personnel to maintain adequate inventory. ✨ Maintain comprehensive purchasing records and ensure procurement systems are updated in a timely manner. ✨ Collaborate with internal departments to resolve delays, discrepancies, and procurement-related issues. ✨ Support market research activities to identify potential suppliers and alternative items or materials. ✨ Ensure adherence to procurement guidelines, corporate policies, and internal control requirements. ✨ Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior to support overall procurement operations.
