Overview Join to apply for the Quality Inspector(OPS, Philippines:Cebu) role at Teradyne . Responsibilities Reading Work Instructions and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards for incoming, in-process and outgoing materials and products. Thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Use various tools and techniques, including precision measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers), to assess product dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes. Identify and document any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards. Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality. Accepting or rejecting finished products/assemblies and discussing inspection results with the production team. Prepare detailed reports on inspection results, including non-conformance issues, corrective actions taken, and quality metrics. Qualifications Candidate must possess a Vocational Diploma in Electronics or equivalent, BS Industrial Technology major in Electronics or equivalent, or any related course. New grads are welcome to apply. Experience in electro-mechanical/electronic assembly is an advantage. Must have good manual dexterity to perform mechanical assembly and wire harnessing. Experience in machine operations and familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) sensitive devices is an advantage. Proficient in computer operation, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.), and familiarity with internet-based program navigation, with ability to generate and interpret computer data.
