Overview
Test Engineer (OPS, Philippines: Cebu) at Teradyne.
Responsibilities- Overview of sub-assembly and assembly of electromechanical parts, test equipment programs, validation and verification, upgrade and/or repair.
- Collaborate with other engineers and divisions for process and quality improvements.
- Use digital and analog electronic test equipment and test systems to perform system, assembly and PCBA failure analysis and debugging.
- Support new product transfer startup/set-up and the improvement of the failure analysis process.
- Participate in asset utilization and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Electro-mechanical assemblers and Test technicians for assembly quality and FCT (Final Check Test).
- Provide remote support to other OPS site/regions.
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to lead or interface with cross-functional teams across different levels of the organization.
- Solid troubleshooting skills in software and hardware (e.g., C++, Visual Basic).
- Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in computer operation and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and able to navigate internet-based programs to generate and interpret data.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
