Details: Job Description. The Systems Operations L2 will be responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of a portfolio of systems and applications. This role will involve performing standard operational tasks to maintain system compliance with our client's standards.

What will you do?

  • Manage systems throughout their entire lifecycle and complete all compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule backups, perform disaster recovery testing, and oversee recovery procedures.
  • Monitor service level agreements, maintain audit trails, and manage access and identity controls.
  • Coordinate server and database patching, vulnerability resolution, and software management (including patching, packaging, testing, license management, and minor enhancements or configuration changes).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT and business stakeholders, coordinating across internal teams (such as HR, Finance, and Infrastructure) and with external partners (vendors, academia, healthcare companies, etc.).
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes; collaborate with IT Infrastructure to remediate, replace, migrate, archive, or decommission systems, including legacy platforms.

Details: What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Customer-oriented, well-organized, and methodical.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
    • Additional languages such as German, Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish are a plus.
    • Able to present information effectively.
  • Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with infrastructure topics such as databases, servers, cloud systems, and networking.
  • Minimum experience requirements:
    • At least 2 years working with cross-functional teams (internal and external) in a multinational company.
    • At least 3 years of solid experience as a system lead or system administrator, preferably with Salesforce.com.
    • Experience with at least two of the following technologies/platforms: Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, or APIs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Operational Excellence and ITIL v3.0 or higher fundamentals certification.
  • Shift flexibility and schedule adherence are required for this position.
