JOB SUMMARY The Technical Writer is responsible for developing, editing, and maintaining company documentation, including employee handbooks, work instructions, and policy manuals. This role involves collaborating with section heads to prioritize documentation needs, ensuring clarity and compliance with company standards. The position also supports HR and operational teams by producing structured guidelines for employees and field workers, contributing to process efficiency and regulatory adherence. PRINCIPAL DUTIES Policy & Handbook Development Write and maintain Employee Handbook and Laborer Guidelines. Ensure all handbooks, policies, and manuals comply with legal, corporate, and industry standards. Work Instructions & Procedure Manuals Develop and standardize work instructions and procedure manuals for all departments. Regularly update documentation to reflect process improvements, compliance updates, and company goals. Technical & Process Documentation Write, format, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user‑friendly manuals. Support the preparation of ISO and other compliance‑related documentation. Maintain a centralized documentation system for version control and easy access. Editing, Proofreading & Quality Assurance Review and proofread all policies and manuals for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Collaboration with Department Heads Meet with section heads monthly to identify and prioritize documentation needs. Gather input from HR, Finance, and Operations for policy and process documentation. Perform other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Communications, Journalism, Business, or any related field Experience At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in technical writing, policy development, or corporate documentation. Experience in HR, compliance, or process documentation is an advantage. Competencies Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail Proficiency in technical documentation and formatting Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise documents Strong organizational and research skills Familiarity with corporate compliance and HR policies Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multiple departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
