The Role
The Tax Specialist is responsible for the periodic filing of taxes such as Expanded Withholding Taxes, Withholding on Compensation, Value Added Taxes, and Income Taxes, both manually and via EFPS. Prepares Tax Certificates like BIR Form 2307 and 2316. Ensures compliance with BIR requirements, including audits and documentation, which may involve visits to BIR offices. Communicates with suppliers and representatives to resolve tax-related issues. Consolidates data for tax filings, secures documents for submission, and prepares other tax-related reports.
Ideal Profile
- Must be a graduate of BS-Accountancy or related courses.
- Strong knowledge of taxation; previous experience in tax is preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Dedicated, hardworking, able to handle pressure, and adaptable to multitasking.
- Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, to meet deadlines.
- Must have a cheerful disposition.
