Overview About the Role Swiftlane is looking for a Remote, Content Writer to own and manage keyword clusters, write high-quality blogs, and keep them updated with fresh, relevant content. Must be available to work in Pacific Timezone. You’ll be responsible for publishing content that ranks well, aligns with Swiftlane’s brand, and performs across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery. What You’ll Do Own and manage keyword clusters relevant to Swiftlane’s products and audience — including access control systems, video intercoms, smart building technology, keyless entry, mobile access, and multi-tenant security solutions. Write SEO-optimized blog posts with accurate, authoritative, and trustworthy information. Research keywords, competitors, and search intent to find new ranking opportunities. Apply E-E-A-T principles and write content optimized for both Google SERPs and AI/LLM search models. Update and refresh older posts for relevance, internal linking, and engagement. Track and improve performance metrics: rankings, traffic, CTR, conversions. Collaborate with marketing and design teams for visuals, CTAs, and campaign alignment. What You Bring 3+ years of SEO writing experience (preferably in B2B SaaS, PropTech, or tech-related niches). Strong research and analytical skills — able to write with authority and insight. Strong command of AP Style — consistent, clear, and professional writing tone. Understanding of semantic SEO, E-E-A-T, and AI-era content optimization. Familiar with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or SurferSEO. Comfortable managing and updating multiple articles consistently. Excellent English writing and communication skills. Nice to Haves Experience writing for technology, AI, or security-focused products. Knowledge of how to optimize for Google AI Overviews Understanding of how to optimize for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity search visibility. Experience with content clustering, semantic SEO, and topic authority building. Ability to structure long-form blogs using clear subtopics, schema markup, and structured data.
